Its maybe the only architectonic relic that shines our city, it was built between the years of 1941 and 1942. The design is the work of “Architect Francisco D´amico, with a neocolonial style and diversity of several elements we can define it as “eclectic”.
From 1942 to 1981 it served as the Municipal Palace. It contains the History Museum of the City, which research, rescue, preserve, spread and exalt the spiritual values and materials from the past and present of Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
